Black Practitioner Gatherings

New Slang Productions extends a warm invite for you to register your interest in our upcoming Black Practitioner Gatherings. Our gatherings which will take place at The Lowry, Salford will allow you the chance to have a calm and comfortable space to chat and network, engage in wellbeing practices, discuss your needs and aspirations as well as hear from exciting guest speakers from the arts industries.  

New Slang Productions is a Black Queer-led Theatre Company that has supported many emerging theatre practitioners in their earlier careers, and we are now seeking to bring together the vibrant community of Black diaspora artists in the North West of England.  

Anyone from the Black Diaspora whether straight or LGBTQIA+ is welcome to register their interest and attend but its important that inclusivity and generosity are a key element of the events. About Tian Glasgow

Tian Glasgow (he/him) is a queer cis Black man who grew up in London and has been based in Manchester since 2019. He founded the theatre company New Slang Productions in 2011. The thread running through Tian’s work is social concerns such as race and class and how it affects communities.
