Come and see a family-friendly exhibition showcasing the creative magic behind some of the world’s best-loved and best-selling children’s books, including The Gruffalo, Zog, Room on the Broom, Stickman, The Smeds and the Smoos, and The Baddies.

Explore the enchanting world of Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler at The Lowry, where the duo’s celebrated partnership comes to life. Engage in story writing, picture drawing, dress-up, and playing amidst the festive atmopshere.

Families

This workshop is ideal for families who would prefer a quieter, more relaxed session and specifically for those with additional needs, autism, neurodiversity or anxiety.

An hour every Sunday 9 -10am.

For individuals and families with access requirements. Booking is essential.

For those who would prefer to experience our Galleries in a calmer and less busy environment.
