We’re here to give space to different views, voices and opinions. And as a charity, we’re here to put every pound we make back into our work; supporting local communities, nurturing young talent and creating a programme as diverse and open minded as the city itself.
In short, whatever you’re here for, whether that’s a show, an exhibition, an artist, a band, a comedian, or a workshop, we’re here for it.

How it all happens
The generosity of the community around us is what makes everything we do possible. Every ticket to a show. Every online donation. Every slice of cake at Lowry Coffee Shop. Every meal at Lowry Restaurant. Every gift shop souvenir. It all allows us to keep opening the wonderful world of creativity to more people. As a not-for-profit organisation and registered charity with only 6% income from public funds, your support truly means the world. -

Here’s what we do behind the scenes at our ship-shaped home in Salford Quays: Putting the most unmissable art and performance in front of your eyes. Ensuring everybody gets to experience art through free family-friendly things to do. Cheering on the next generation of creative talent with real career opportunities. Supporting schools with teaching a more creative curriculum. Giving locals from the Salford Community a stage to shine on.
