The Lowry and the cost of living crisis

The Lowry and the cost of living crisis

The Lowry recognises the impact that the cost of living crisis is having on our audiences. The Lowry is committed to ensuring that theatre remains accessible for all and to this end we have a range of ticket options and schemes available as well as opportunities to engage with culture for free.

For Salford residents The Lowry delivers a scheme called Our Lowry that offers tickets to many shows for as little as £10. Sign up to Our Lowry to be added to the this scheme

For everyone the cheapest price tickets are usually available for around £15.

For those under 30 The Lowry offers discounted tickets as part of our Under 30s scheme with cheap tickets offered to help support our audiences of the future.

The Lowry offers a programme of free family activities in our galleries and the Lookout.

And entry to our galleries including temporary exhibitions and the worlds largest collection of LS Lowry works are free to everyone to enter.

Throughout the year there are some large scale free events such as the bi-ennial We Invented the Weekend festival and the annual Open Day which takes place in August. For 2023 the date is Sunday 6th August. And keep an eye on the website for news about more free events.

We hope that The Lowry has something for you and we are actively working to ensure that everyone can access the wonderful place that is The Lowry.
