EAT. DRINK. UNWIND.

Lowry Restaurant

At the Lowry Restaurant you can enjoy modern British flavours and hints of cultural influence in our dining room overlooking the Quays waterfront. The menu changes four times a year so we can serve you the freshest seasonal ingredients.

Explore our list of new and old world wines designed to pair perfectly with your menu choices. Our bar is also stocked with local gins, local beers, cocktails and plenty of low-or-no alcohol options for non-drinkers and designated drivers.

Our Kids Menu makes sure your little ones don't feel left out. They can pick two or three courses from their own special menu - complete with activities to keep them entertained while you dine.

Lowry Bar & Kitchen

Watch the world go by in Lowry Bar & Kitchen. Grab a drink or a bite to eat and soak up the atmosphere. You’ll find the bar right next door to the restaurant and only a few steps from our theatre auditoriums.

We pride ourselves on our connection to our local community, so you’ll find gin from Four Sis4ers Distillery, rum from Salford Rum Company, beers from Seven Bro7hers Brewery and coffee from Liverpool roastery, Neighbourhood Coffee - and more!

Keep the kids entertained at the Little Lowry Kitchen play area. Keep their tummies full with our popular Lowry Lunchbox with their choice of sandwich, juice box and snacks.

Open to all:

Tues-Fri, 11am ‘til late

Sat & Sun, 10am ‘til late

Food served daily from 12pm until 30 minutes before curtain on show days and until 4pm on other days.

Theatre Bars

We have two Theatre Bars serving specific parts of the venue - our Circle Bar, which opens when there are more than 1,000 guests in the Lyric theatre and our Quay Bar for performances in the Quays theatre.

Relax before the show and during intervals with a wide selection of drinks and locally sourced snacks. And don’t forget to order your interval drinks in advance to avoid any hassle during the break.

Both bars open 1 hour before a show starts and close after the last interval.

Lowry Coffee Shop

Pop in for a cup of Salford-based Brew Tea or Liverpool-roasted Neighbourhood coffee. Treat yourself to something sweet and locally sourced or a pre-packed sandwich. Located next to our Lowry shop it's worth a peep in there too!

Open 1 hour before a show starts and closes after the last interval.

Our commitment to sustainability

We work hard to reduce our impact on the environment. Here are just some of the ways we’re doing our bit for the planet:

  • We switched single-use plastic water bottles for canned water, saving half a tonne of plastic from being sent to landfill in 2023.
  • We now use paper straws and reusable plastic cups instead of single-use plexiglass.
  • We source produce locally whenever possible to reduce our delivery emissions.
  • We swapped our cleaning products for natural, no-chemical alternatives.
  • All of our meat is Red Tractor Assured, our fish is MSC-certified and our eggs and dairy meet RSPCA and Lion Stamp standards.
  • Our vegetables get the Soil Association seal of approval.
