Dance Devising with Move MCR & Lowry CAT

Does moving make you feel good? Want to unleash your inner-creativity with the help of industry professionals? This Dance Devising workshop is part of a series of energising dance workshops through which professional dance artists will share with you their methods & top tips for creating & performing movement.

Dance Devising: Discover how Dance Artists Ayesha and Jack, create dance for their company, Move Manchester and try it out for yourself using their top tips!

Suitable for ages 11 -16.
These workshops, while being super-helpful for those studying dance/drama, will also be accessible for all abilities, beginner to advanced and are friendly, welcoming sessions.

What to wear: Comfortable clothing that allows you to move freely without risk to your modesty. A jumper/top to keep you warm on breaks. Please note that participants will be dancing bare-foot. Bring water to keep hydrated.
