After a run of sell-out pantos at The Lowry over the last few years, Barton Theatre Company are back in The Studio with “Twelfth Night”, William Shakespeare’s fast paced and much loved RomCom.
Beginning with a shipwreck – and ending with one or two unexpected marriages – the play, with its interwoven plots of deception, disguise, gender identity and practical jokes (not forgetting the yellow stockings!) was first published in 1623 which makes now, exactly 400 years later, a perfect time to celebrate the comic genius of the man who was William Shakespeare!
