In Partnership with BBC’s Bring the Drama Festival, The Lowry are inviting young people to learn more about technical theatre, routes into the industry and tips from the trade.
In this 90 minute tour around The Lowry’s Quays & Lyric theatres, young people will access backstage areas and get an insight into what it takes to support mainstage productions. You’ll get an insight into pathways into technical careers and an inside understanding of what working at The Lowry is like for our technical team.
Please note – this tour is specifically aimed at young people aged 13-25 as part of our commitment to showcasing creative careers to young people.
This is a moving tour across the building and backstage areas. Participants will spend most of the workshop stood or moving. The tour and activity can be adjusted for access needs – please contact the team in advance to discuss by emailing steph.green@thelowry.com
