The Lowry’s Director of Learning and Engagement Jennifer Riding and Lowry Trustee Jaiden Corfield spoke passionately to a room that including MPs and some of the Shadow Cabinet, about The Lowry’s L&E programmes, its work in the community and the impact this work has on young people in Salford.

Jaiden spoke about his experience of coming through The Lowry’s L&E programmes as a young person himself and what that has meant to his life and career.

Alongside this, LS Lowry’s Going to the Match was on display during the event, with The Lowry’s Director of Visual Arts Michael Simpson, and the Curator of the Lowry Collection Claire Stewart on hand to speak to guests about LS Lowry and our Galleries and the campaign to save Going to the Match for public view.
