The Lowry has teamed up with Salford Red Devils to host a takeover day at the AJ Bell Stadium for their clash against Wakefield Trinity on Sunday 16 June.
The Lowry and Salford Red Devils have come together combining sport with the arts to create an exciting family fun day full of some of the best activities and entertainment that Salford has to offer.
Those attending the match on Sunday 16 June can enjoy pop-up performances from dancers, stilt walkers and unicyclists outside the stadium from midday. The marquee will host the Elior game-day bar with pints from £3, alongside arts and crafts activities to keep the kids entertained in the build-up to the match. And, there will be the opportunity to get involved with dance and circus workshops on the 3G pitch.
WildThang’s pop-up stall will be on hand before kick-off with Salford merchandise from the club shop, with catering vans positioned in both the outside forecourt and area between the West and South stands. The Salford match-day programme will be on sale before and after kick-off to bring fans all of the latest news and information at the club.
Half-time will see the return of stilts walkers, unicyclists and dancers on the pitch to entertain fans.
