‘How Soon is Now?’ is based on the nostalgia of a decade the performers did not experience. Drawing from their 2024 performance ‘Neon Dreams and Power Schemes’ it aims to retell stories and evoke conversation and connection between generations. This performance balances theatricality and intimacy, accompanied by facts and footage. Acknowledging the past, embracing the present and looking to the future together.

Let us understand the cyclical nature of politics and the trepidation of a cultural reset whilst also recognising how far we have advanced. Let us cherish the people that made up the decade, whether it’s in music, grandeur, or hardships. Join us in our retold appreciation of the 1980s.
