Galleries Relaxed Session

Free Entry.
These will occur 10.00am – 12.00pm on the following dates:
- Sunday 28th September
- Sunday 26th October
- Sunday 16th November
- Sunday 7th December
Booking is essential due to limited capacity.
This is a session for individuals and families with access requirements who would prefer to experience our Galleries in a calmer and less busy environment.
On the day there will be:
- Relaxed Screening of Lowry 360: with reduced volume and viewer capacity
- Artwork to look at
- A bespoke Sensory Toolkit created by the artist Sarah Marsh to touch, play and engage with
- A facilitator running a drop-in workshop
- Friendly staff to welcome you into the Andrew Law Galleries
- Comfortable seating in the Andrew Law Galleries if you need to sit down
- A Quiet Space away from the main Galleries
- Reduced sound across the whole building
- Ear defenders available from the Andrew Law Galleries Welcome Desk
- A sticker system which allows you to communicate whether you would like to be interacted with.
- A private Reflection Room (please ask the Andrew Law Galleries Desk if you require access to this)
