Modern Life: The LS Lowry Collection
LS Lowry is one of Britain’s most popular painters. You can see many of his iconic pictures in our Galleries, including Going to the Match, as well as paintings and drawings we’ve borrowed from private collections.
Entry is free but ticketed. One ticket gives you entrance to Modern Life: The LS Lowry Collection, LOWRY 360 and Quentin Blake and Me.
When you arrive at the Galleries Welcome Desk on Floor 2, our friendly staff will be there to guide you and answer any questions you might have.
And after your gallery visit don't forget to visit Lowry Bar and Kitchen for refreshments or if you have little ones with you there will be lots of FREE activities around the building so why not make a day of it! Entry to our exhibitions is FREE, but donations are welcome.

From celebrating the iconic artwork of LS Lowry to showcasing the life-changing work we do with young people, our birthday celebrations feature an inspiring line-up of shows, art, and events. And with so many family friendly free activities and affordable pricing as well, we’re hoping that as many people as possible will be able to join us.
