Written by Harriet Madeley and directed by Madelaine Moore, Outpatient tells the story of ham-fisted journalist Olive, who is attempting to interview dying people for her ‘hot take’ article on mortality. Olive is determined that we should all get better at talking about death, because really why is it such a big deal…  until she gets diagnosed with a life-threatening illness of her own, which she can’t deal with at all. Harriet began writing the show in 2021 after a life-altering diagnosis with Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis led her to implode her life.

Outpatient will be performed by its writer Harriet Madeley and directed by Madelaine Moore. Sound will be designed by Bella Kear; lighting and projection by Megan Lucas; stage management Jessica Taylor
