A performance-based project for young carers aged 11–17 with shared lived experiences. Together you’ll create powerful work that raises awareness and advocates for change – whether through performance, film, spoken word, or movement. This long-term project runs over 12–18 months, supporting young people to co-create, connect and use their voice to inspire impact.

A creative wellbeing group for young people aged 11–17 from priority backgrounds in Salford. Using visual arts, you’ll explore identity, creativity and connection in a nurturing and inclusive space. Open to all priority young people – including Young Carers, Care-Experienced young people, and those facing challenges with mental health or access.

We are offering you the opportunity to upskill in new movement techniques and unleash your artistic, physical creativity with Lowry Youth Dance Project. All genders and abilities welcome!
In this project you will receive...
• Tuition from industry professionals whilst making friends and learning new ways to move
• Bespoke movement workshops in choreography, technique and improvisation
• A performance opportunity
