This winter, your kindness can light up the lives of young people in Salford. Many are facing challenges, whether they’re out of school, in care, at risk of homelessness, caring for a family member, or growing up in poverty.
Lowry is a registered charity with a mission to use creativity and the arts to change lives. But we can’t do it without you.
Your generosity will help us deliver our Socially Engaged Arts programme which offers more than just activities. It creates safe, welcoming spaces where young people can connect, create and be heard. These experiences build confidence, nurture wellbeing, and help young people feel seen, valued, and hopeful about their future.
Each year, over 22,000 people take part in our participation programmes, totalling around 6,000 hours of engagement. The programmes offer a lifeline for so many young people who might otherwise feel left out or overlooked.

“Before I came to Lowry, I was so quiet, I wouldn’t talk to people. My confidence has grown so much that now I can talk to anybody. I always needed someone to support me, but now I can stand on my own two feet and be my own person.”
