Tue 3 March
The Innate Storyteller
Storytelling is a fundamental part of humanity and now, in the digital age it is more important than ever to be able to reconnect with this art form.
If you wish to explore solo performance, or want to develop skills for presentations, speeches, to communicate your ideas or to entertain your friends, then this course is for you. In 6 sessions, over 6 weeks, performer, Jenny May Morgan, will guide you through a series of practical exercises which will develop your performance skills and help you to harness your unique voice as a storyteller. No previous experience necessary, just a desire to get stuck in.
Jenny has found storytelling has been at the core of her 12 years of professional work as an actor, a character comedian, a tour guide and workshop leader. She has trained with Ben Haggarty of the Crick Crack club in traditional performance storytelling and has found this invaluable for all of her practise.
