Torus is a journey through the flow of nature.
Humanhood’s much anticipated first group piece, performed by the newly joined five exceptional dancers, merges the company’s unique synergy and powerful movement into a tribal hurricane of effortless fluidity. Embarking in a journey into the toroidal flow, expanding and collapsing through chaos and stillness, Torus is a return to the tribal. Rhythm becomes visual, sonic and kinaesthetic.

Humanhood was founded in 2016 by co-Artistic Directors Rudi Cole and Júlia Robert Parés, and since the creation of their first duet the company is having a rapidly growing following both in the UK and International scene. The research behind the work is rooted in physics as well as in their personal insight into Eastern mysticism, fascinated by the connections that lie between these seemingly different fields and how these shape our human experience of ourselves and reality.
