How do we protect ourselves as we learn from the past, without living forever in its shadow? Sing Child Sing is a new solo work from Far From The Norm, an unfiltered exploration of healing, identity, and the invisible legacies that drift quietly from one generation to the next. Performed by Botis Seva and rooted in his own autobiographical experiences, Sing Child Sing unravels how abandonment, frustration, and faith embed themselves in the body and how they surface as both function and fracture.

Audiences are drawn into an intimate, shifting portrait of Botis’ inner reality, where time folds and refolds, and the past self stands face to face with the present. Through searing physicality and unflinching emotional clarity, we witness the anatomical rebuilding of a man: a body rewiring itself, confronting generational chains, and reclaiming its power with fierce, embodied intention. What emerges is a man suspended between memory and possibility, slowly loosening the inherited patterns that have shaped him.

Sing Child Sing is a courageous act of transformation, an invitation to feel, to reckon, and to rise.
