There is a passenger drop off point at the front of The Lowry, approximately 25-30 metres from the main entrance.
The primary disabled parking facility for The Lowry is The Quayside car park.
We recommend that Blue Badge holders enter The Quayside car park at the entrance near the mini-roundabout on the road leading from The Quays as this will allow parking on the ground floor level.
The Quayside car park offers 4 hours free parking for disabled patrons on production of their blue badge at either the Car Parking Office or at the Information Desk. For more information please contact their team on 0161 848 1850.
The Lowry does offer two dedicated parking spaces on our service road for Blue Badge holders. These are available on a first come first served basis, and cannot be booked in advance. In addition, The Lowry will always endeavour to accommodate high sided vehicles with Blue Badges on our service road, although no guarantee can be made. These cannot be booked in advance. There will also be some occasions when operational requirements mean that there is no access to the service road at all, and therefore anyone in need of accessible parking will need to use the QuaySide carpark. This is a temporary provision owing to the practical limitations of parking high sided vehicles on The Quays, and will be reviewed once the wider Quays provision is resolved.
