Lowry and Creativity
– Eleanor Whitehurst
Whether you're here for the art, dance or just a feel-good story - artists, theatre-makers, partners and staff share all.
From the highs of circus performance to an exhibition filmed from the basement of the building, Lowry is overflowing with creativity from top to bottom. This podcast explores the creative processes behind the last 25 years at Lowry, from the words of the artists, theatre-makers, partners and staff themselves. Whether you're here for the art, dance or just a feel good story, you'll find it here in 'Lowry & Creativity.'
Produced by Eleanor Whitehurst, a recent TV and Radio production graduate from the University of Salford, and part of the One Lowry, Many Stories interview team. Eleanor’s biggest passion is telling stories through audio. She has produced several professional podcasts, live radio shows and even a radio drama over her last three years at university, including a radio package that was featured on both BBC York and BBC Radio Leeds.
As Lowry turns 25, we’re marking this milestone with a powerful new project that honours the voices, memories and people who’ve shaped our journey, and the transformation of Salford Quays. One Lowry, Many Stories is made possible thanks to funding from The National Lottery Heritage Fund.
