FREE Lowry & The Pre-Raphaelites Festive Fun activities | Sat 1 December – Sun 6 January 2019

Join us from Sat 1 December in The Lookout for creative family activities inspired by our exhibition Lowry & The Pre-Raphaelites. It’s time to get festive!

From 19 December keep a look out for a poster with a special clue, quote the clue at the Tower Coffee Shop and you will get a free gingerbread cupcake that you can decorate!

Planned activities below, they’re all free and there’s no need to book – just turn up in your Christmas jumper or something sparkly!

Fri 21 & Mon 31 December | 11am – 4pm

Learn how to draw portraits with maximum realism and how to use pens and inks just like the Pre Raphaelite Brotherhood did.

The Pre-Raphaelites loved depicting stories in their works. Join us as we pick apart the different story elements they used and make exploding pop-up Pre Raphaelite scenes.

Fri 28 December & Fri 4 Jauary 2019 | 11am – 4pm

The Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood loved exploring the heavens in their artwork and in this session we’ll be making angels and heavenly settings for them.
