We need you!
We need your help to raise funds to deliver free creative arts workshops for over 700 primary school children in some of the most deprived areas of Salford. Every pound we raise will be doubled by Alison and Noel Copley, founders of The Copley Prize!
Our target is to raise £5,000 between Thu 20 June and Wed 31 July 2019 so we can help Salford primary school children to develop their imagination, spark their creativity and bring curriculum subjects to life with professional artists using LS Lowry as inspiration.
The Lowry’s schools outreach programme targets schools in deprived areas of Salford that have had limited or no previous engagement with the arts and The Lowry. Many of them would not otherwise have access to or be able to afford workshops with professional artists or even basic art materials. The outreach programme delivers workshops with a professional artist in up to ten schools each year and provides teachers with art materials and resource packs to enable them to roll out similar workshops throughout the school.
