National Theatre's Connections Festival

Connections Young Company is for young performers looking to develop as actors. There will be actor-training including working on character, voice, movement and script whilst we explore the play. This year’s play is “The Marxist in Heaven” and combines disco, comedy, angels and the Mighty Metatron to provide an upbeat examination of globalisation.

Connections runs on Saturdays starting on 19th October with our last new intake on the 9th November. Sessions initially run from 2.30pm – 5.30pm

Lowry Young Company home shows will be on 10th-12th March 2020 and will be performed in our Studio Theatre

The Festival will take place on 4th & 5th April with the Lowry Young Company performing on one of these day in the Quays Theatre.

Fees are £260 for the whole of the programme. This can be paid upfront or, if preferred in instalments. There are some available bursaries for either part or full fees available and more information can be obtained from the Youth Arts Manager – Natalie Crompton
