Casual Ticket Sales Agent / Offsite Box Office agents

£8.91 per hour (plus holiday pay) plus staff benefits

The Lowry is a visual and performing arts venue situated at the heart of MediaCityUK, one of the world’s most exciting culture and media destinations.

Located within The Lowry is Quaytickets, an award winning customer service team providing ticketing for activities taking place across The Lowry’s theatres, galleries and educational workshops. The team also provide ticket sales services to over 50 Quaytickets clients across the UK selling tickets over the phone for a wide range of live entertainment events including, theatre, opera, musicals, dance, music, comedy festivals and sport.

We currently have a number of vacancies available with an immediate start for Casual Ticket Sales Agents. Successful candidates will join our busy inbound contact centre sales team acting as the first point of telephone contact for the customer by processing transactions using the computerised box office systems. The roles will be based primarily on site at The Lowry contact centre with the opportunity to work at off site Lowry events in MediaCityUK / close to MediaCityUK.

We also have roles to support our Box Office at an exciting Winter Wonderland event, based at Eventcity opposite the Trafford centre throughout December and January.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who have a real passion and enthusiasm for live entertainment. The ideal candidates will have experience of providing excellent customer service and experience of working with computerised sales systems, although full training will be given.

MediaCityUK is a well-connected destination with a variety of different transport options – bus, car, tram and bike.

Various shifts are available. The roles will include evening and weekend shifts.
