Big Top in the Park

Welcome to the Big Top in the Park, a community festival with 11 days of fun, frolic and laughter for all the family.

Salford is a big city and The Lowry wants to make sure we meet as many people in our community as possible, especially those who may not be able to get to our building on the Quays. We love bringing brilliant cultural experiences to your doorsteps.

This Summer we worked with with Lost in Translation Circus to bring a Big Top (and some fantastic shows) to Prince’s Park in Irlam. In association with Irlam & Cadishead Community Festival – a celebration of a major anniversary this year, and Salford City Council, Big Top in the Park will run from Wed 11 Aug to Sat 21 Aug and featured great circus, family shows, late night comedy, music and family workshop activities.
