What's On This Week
Before your visit...
Your safety and security is of the utmost importance to us. To make sure your visit is as safe as possible, we have a series of visible and discreet measures in place across our building 24-hours a day. This includes security searches prior to your entry to the building.
To assist us with these checks we would ask that you refrain from bringing large bags to the venue as this could cause delays to your admittance. Please note: Anyone who declines a security search will not be admitted.
If you are attending a theatre performance, please ensure that you arrive with plenty of time for these security checks to take place, particularly if you are collecting tickets from the box office counter.
If you do have a large bag with you and you are attending a theatre performance, as well as it being searched on arrival, we will insist the item is checked into our cloakroom (at a cost of £1 per item) as large bags are not allowed in the theatre auditorium.
Our security measures are under constant review and we reserve the right to change arrangements at short notice. Thank you for your co-operation.
Everyone has a role to play in making The Lowry a welcoming and safe place to visit or work.
One of our core values is being honest with ourselves and others, respecting everyone who works in or uses our building. This also extends to everyone who engages in our activities off-site.
We do not tolerate aggressive or abusive behaviour towards our staff, volunteers or anyone else visiting our building.
Persons behaving in such a manner will be asked to leave the building or removed by our security team.
